BotBuilder

We have been having fun with out MakerBot Cupcakes and decided to print and build a RepRap  Mendel.  I decided to use the new fluorescent Red ABS from MakerBot  to build our “Big Red Printing Machine.  Check back in a day or two for pictures and a write up on our process.

We decided to stick with the MakerBot Electronics because we were familiar with it and the software and we already had a spare extruder controller so that would save us some time and money.  W also decided to go with the new Printruder to start with and the geared motor used on the MakerBots.  We will probably progress to the stepper motor type extruder at a later date.
