Welcome to 2012

Just as one season ends, we begin another.  Welcome to the beginning of our 12th season!   We are lining up dates for our 2012 Crew-zing Season!  We will be bringing back most of our “old standards” and hope to add new and interesting events to our list.  Most updates and current information can be found on our club forum here:  Garden State Crew-zers Forum

We hope all our old members continue to support our club and our events and we always welcome new members to our ranks.

Memorial Day Weekend Events

We have had a great start to the season with our St Pats parade, MS Walk and Spring Picnic.  This weekend we will be at the Wheels & Wings Car and Air Show in Millville on Friday and Saturday, Sunday we will be participating in the Edison Memorial Day  Parade and Sunday, many of us will be in the Flemington Parade.

Thanks everyone for a great 2010 Season!

Greeting to all our great Garden State Crew-zers Crew!  We hope that as the holiday season approaches, you are all in good health and fine spirits.  We had a great 2010 Crew-zing Season, filled with some great events and hope everyone made it out to some and had a good time.

We are already working on our 2011 Events calendar and will post updates on the forum as they are finalized.  As always, we will try to host varied assortments of events throughout the state.  We have plans to add a few new things this year that might interest you as well.  Be sure to check out the web site and forum often as we will be posting more information after the holidays.

There seems to be a renewed interest in visiting town “Cruise Nights” so we will be posting a schedule of them on the forum for 2011.  This is a fun way to get out and see some nice oldies and maybe get a bite to eat with friends.

We have decided that we will not be running a “Shore Thing” event in 2011.  It has always been a great event but has become an organizational burden on the club and staff.  We are working on bringing back another wonderful event that everybody will enjoy.  More details on that soon.

All the Staff and Directors wish you and your family and very Happy and Safe Holiday Season and look forward to seeing everyone out at events in 2011.

Only a little more than a month to go before we will be hosting Shore Thing 10.  Please come out and help us celebrate hosting a decade of New Jersey’s Largest PT Cruiser Show!  Still plenty of time to get your registration in!  We will accept registrations right up to show day, but the dinner order numbers will have to be finalized by September 5th.  Event T Short orders have been placed for all pre-paid registrants.

At this time, we anticipate that this may well  be our final Shore Thing Event!   The club will continue and all our other events, and many new ones, will go on.

We hope to see all our PT Friends and Crew out at this event in September, please visit the Shore Thing page, or visit the forum for more information and registration links.

We are to be at the Walgreen Drug Store (which is located at the corner on State Route 31 and Church Street) at 9:00 on Monday, May 31, 2010.

What: Flemington Memorial Day Parade
Where:Line-Up in Walgreen’s Parking Lot

Flemington, NJ 08822

More Great Events

The season has begun with a great show in North Brunswick, the PBA’s Cops & Rodders.  Congrats to Bill and Al for bringing home trophies for the first time.  We have three events rolling in quickly, the Memorial Day Parade, The Red, White & Blueberry Festival in Hammonton and the Lebanon 4th of July Parade.  Check the events page for details and also check the forum for up to the minute details and comments on all our events.  Also, we expect a good GSC showing at the lone Wolf Outlaw show in a couple of weeks, PTs Take Flight in Dover Delaware.  Check the forum for registration information and details.

Upcoming Event Reminder

We will start off the 2010 Crew-zing season with the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Woodbridge, NJ.  This is a typical “small town” parade with the streets lined with thousands of kids, waving and waiting for the parade participants to toss them candy.  We have won the award for the “Best Mobile” participant eight times and are anxious to add to this streak so please decorate your PT cruiser and join us.  New this year, we will be heading over to the Shannon Rose after the parade for dinner.  They will have Irish fair and live entertainment! More details can be forund on the events page!  Event Page.
