Shore Thing 10

Only a little more than a month to go before we will be hosting Shore Thing 10.  Please come out and help us celebrate hosting a decade of New Jersey’s Largest PT Cruiser Show!  We will be finalizing numbers mid August and we will only be ordering Event T Shirts for Pre- Paid Registrations so time is running out for you to get our Event t Shirt.  Registrations will be taken right up the the show, but we will not have extra T Shirts available.

At this time, we anticipate that this will be our final Shore Thing Event!   The club will continue and all our other events, and many new ones, will go on.

We hope to see all our PT Friends and Crew out at this event in September, please visit the Shore Thing page, or visit the forum for more information and registration links.

Metuchen H.S. Project Graduation Car Show – August 8th

Metuchen High School is having a car show to raise funds for their Project Graduation. It is being organized by the guys from the slant 6 club? It has 10 classes and we loosely fit into one but I would not expect this to be a trophy opportunity as the kids are judging. However, it is for a good cause and there will probably be some real nice cars there.

It looks like if we want to park together as a club, we are going to have to meet up somewhere and go in together.

Thanks go out to John L for finding this event for us, lets see if we can get a few cars out and have a good time?

Date: August 8th, 10am – 4 pm
Location: Pearl Street Parking Lot – Corner of Rt 27 (Lake Ave.) and New Street
Time: 10am – 4pm
Registration: $15.00 (Pre-Registrations before 8/1/2010 is $10.00)

Here is link to online registration, save $5.00! Registration

More Great Events

The season has begun with a great show in North Brunswick, the PBA’s Cops & Rodders.  Congrats to Bill and Al for bringing home trophies for the first time.  We have three events rolling in quickly, the Memorial Day Parade, The Red, White & Blueberry Festival in Hammonton and the Lebanon 4th of July Parade.  Check the events page for details and also check the forum for up to the minute details and comments on all our events.  Also, we expect a good GSC showing at the lone Wolf Outlaw show in a couple of weeks, PTs Take Flight in Dover Delaware.  Check the forum for registration information and details.

Windward Beach Today!

After bouncing around all week, it looks like today will be partly cloudy with a high near 60. Not the perfect forecast we were hoping for but it will have to do. It is Spring, after all, not Summer yet, so we are going to call it a go, just bring a light jacket and we will see you at the park.

Review: Turned out to be a pretty good day, nice and warm when the sun was out and the wind died.  Had a great time and got caught up with everybody.  Thanks everyone for coming out!

Red, White & Blueberry Festival, June 27th, 2010 Reg Open

We just received this year’s registration forms for this event.  For the newbies, this is a small town show that draws up to 350 cars!  Lots of really nice antiques and classics, they have a street fair with craft and food vendors and sell everything blueberry, from the berries to cakes, pies, bagels and ice cream.  Information on registration page HERE

Cops & Rodders Show Back On, April 25, 2010

Please check the Events Page.  We were told in January that this show was canceled, now we find out it is back on and only a few weeks away.  Details on the Events Page and on our forum.
